Members are advised of a temporary full closure of the M4 carriageway at the M4/M27 (P96) Interchange on Wednesday, 2 September 2026, from 9am to 3pm, to facilitate the safe installation of bridge beams as part of the ongoing interchange bridge widening works.
Traffic will be diverted via the existing interchange on- and off-ramps around the work area. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted and controlled.
Motorists are encouraged to plan, allow additional travel time and exercise caution when approaching the interchange.
