SPMMA members are advised that the temporary full closure of the M4 at the M27 Interchange initially scheduled for Monday, 12 October, will now take place on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, from 9am to 3pm.
The closure is required to facilitate the safe installation of temporary staging beams as part of the ongoing M4/M27 Interchange Bridge Widening Works.
Traffic will be diverted via the existing interchange on- and off-ramps, with clear signage and traffic control personnel in place.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, follow diversion signage and proceed with caution through the area.
