The Sibaya Management Association’s cleaning, greening, and maintenance teams have continued their steady progress across the precinct, ensuring that our shared spaces remain clean, green, and well-maintained as the rainy season approaches.
Thriving Landscapes and Active Maintenance
Landscape activities have remained consistent, with teams focused on refreshing planting beds, weeding, and general brush cutting across common areas.

Our succulent nursery continues to expand, helping to support replanting efforts with hardy, water-wise species that thrive in the local climate.

With the recent warm and wet conditions, grass-cutting cycles have increased to every two weeks in several high-growth areas, keeping verges and open spaces neat and accessible. The middle islands within the precinct are flourishing, showcasing the results of the team’s careful planning and commitment to sustainable landscaping.

Improving Drainage
On the maintenance front, desiltation of Attenuation Pond 1 has been successfully completed, with excess soil shaped and seeded to improve runoff control towards the infiltration structure.

While ongoing construction activity within parts of the precinct has led to some localised dust, coordination between the environmental management and construction teams has helped to mitigate the impact. Regular maintenance continues to ensure these areas are well managed and remain visually appealing.
A Living Precinct
Wildlife continues to thrive throughout Sibaya, reflecting the health of our natural systems and the success of the precinct’s long-term environmental management approach.
As we move further into the rainy season, our teams remain focused on staying ahead of nature’s pace — maintaining the balance between growth, beauty, and functionality across the precinct.
