We would like to inform you about an exciting event happening in our precinct this Saturday, hosted by Gold Coast. The Gold Coast Forest Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, 7th September, and all are invited to participate.
This family-friendly event offers two distance options—an 8km or 4km route—starting and finishing in front of Sibaya Dam, located in front of Gold Coast. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of our precinct while contributing to a good cause.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, 7th September
- Location: Start and finish at Sibaya Dam (in front of Gold Coast)
- Distance Options: 8km and 4km
- Start Time: 8km (7h30) and 4km (7h45)
- Cost: R100 (includes a donation towards indigenous trees and shrubs for the precinct, as well as a breakfast bun)

However, to ensure the safety of all participants, the SPMMA will be providing additional support on the trails and roads in the form of extra marshals and bollards.
