We are excited to share the latest updates on our landscaping projects within the Sibaya Precinct. Our ongoing efforts to create vibrant, inviting, and sustainable spaces continue to transform our community, enhancing both its beauty and environmental health.
Circle 4 Landscaping Completion
We are pleased to announce the completion of the landscaping project for Circle 4. This project involved meticulous planning and execution by our dedicated SPMMA team and skilled landscapers. The project included:
- Soil Preparation: Ensuring optimal soil conditions for healthy plant growth.
- Plant Selection: Choosing a diverse mix of native plants that thrive in our local environment, providing both aesthetic beauty and ecological benefits.
- Planting and Shoot Management: Carefully planting and managing new shoots to encourage robust growth and development.
The newly landscaped Circle 4 not only enhances the visual appeal of our precinct but also contributes to the overall environmental health of the area. The selected plants are beautiful and beneficial for local wildlife, offering food and habitat for various species.
Promenade Plantings: Flourishing Large-Leaf Figs
This time last year, we planted 10 large-leaf figs along our promenade to replace 10 Water Berry trees (Umndoni trees) that were infested with tree borers. Today, these large-leaf figs are in full flower, growing robustly and filling the spaces beautifully. They are flourishing and contributing to the lush greenery of our precinct, showcasing the success of our ongoing landscaping efforts.
Community Involvement
We are grateful for the patience and cooperation of our residents during these projects. Your support and understanding have been invaluable. We encourage everyone to take a moment to visit Circle 4 and the promenade to enjoy the results of these collective efforts.
