With the recent decline in rainfall, our teams have made strong progress across a wide range of operational activities, bringing much-needed attention to areas that were previously challenged by persistent wet conditions.
Precinct-Wide Landscape and Roadside Maintenance
Landscape maintenance has been a key focus this month. Our teams have been actively weeding island circles and pruning overgrown trees and bushes throughout the precinct.

Along the M4, particularly near the Sibaya Circle, crews have been sweeping roads and V-drains, cutting back grass, and applying herbicides to manage vegetation growth effectively. Verge and fence-line maintenance also continued, ensuring a neat and safe environment across the area.

Boosting Coastal Clean-Up Efforts
Despite the drier conditions, our beaches have unfortunately continued to accumulate significant ocean-borne waste. In response, temporary additional resources were deployed to support beach clean-up efforts. As a result, 173 full refuse bags of debris were removed from the shoreline this month, with ongoing efforts to restore the beach to its best possible condition.

Node 5: Conservation and Erosion Mitigation
In Node 5, our alien invasive control teams have maintained momentum. Their efforts are focused on reclaiming grassland sections, removing woody plant encroachment, and preparing for the integration of the broader forest trail network.

At the same time, the Primary Developer has initiated work to repair stormwater-related scouring along the Node 5 servitude. These repairs are essential in mitigating future erosion and reducing infrastructure stress in this sensitive area.
We thank all involved teams and contractors for their dedication in ensuring Sibaya remains a well-maintained, resilient and environmentally responsible precinct.
