We are thrilled to share the exciting news of our recent Arbour Week event held on Saturday, September 2nd, at the picturesque dam opposite the Gold Coast Estate. It was a morning filled with greenery and a deep sense of environmental stewardship.
The highlight of the event was the planting of 200 indigenous trees, made possible through the generous sponsorship of Indigitree. These trees are not just symbols of growth but also an embodiment of our commitment to preserving our natural surroundings. Indigenous trees play a vital role in maintaining biodiversity and are well-suited to our local ecosystem. We so look forward to the trees thriving in the Sibaya Coastal Precinct.
Our heartfelt gratitude to all our residents who participated. From the seasoned green thumbs to the little hands eager to get dirty, every contribution was invaluable and made a difference. It was heartwarming to witness residents of all ages coming together and bonding over a shared purpose. The experience of planting trees, working in harmony with nature, was both educational and inspiring.
We’d like to extend a special shout-out to Mazwi and his dedicated team for their ongoing commitment and love for the precinct. Their tireless efforts behind the scenes ensured that everything ran smoothly.
As we look back on the success of our Arbour Week event, we eagerly anticipate similar initiatives in the future. Our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship remains steadfast in the Sibaya Coastal Precinct.
We encourage you to stay engaged and involved and watch this space for updates on upcoming events,
Thank you once again for making our Arbour Week event a tremendous success.
