Dear Community Members,
Street Lighting Decommissioned
As part of the ongoing M27 DOT road upgrade, we wish to advise that street lighting between the M4 interchange and the SALTA Estate entrance has been temporarily decommissioned to allow road layer works to proceed.
We ask that all residents please take extra care when travelling through this stretch after dark.
Fig Tree Relocation
We would also like to make you aware of the fig tree situated within the path of the road widening works. While we hold the relevant licences to remove the tree, we are making every effort to cut back and relocate it out of the construction zone. This is constrained by the existing services infrastructure behind it, but we will do everything we can to preserve the tree before considering removal as a last resort.
We are pleased to advise that overall works are progressing well and remain on track.
