Each year, the Sibaya Precinct Master Management Association (SPMMA) conducts an Annual Perception Survey to better understand how property and business owners, employees, and visitors experience the precinct. These surveys are a vital part of our ongoing effort to measure performance, strengthen confidence, and identify opportunities for improvement across all aspects of precinct management.
The 2025 survey, conducted in October, drew responses from 31 participants representing property owners, business operators, and employees within the precinct. The findings reaffirm Sibayaโs reputation as a safe, clean, and well-maintained coastal precinct supported by effective management and communication.
Highlights from this yearโs results include:
-
94% of respondents would recommend Sibaya Precinct to others.
-
An 8 out of 10 average experience rating, with landscaping, wildlife, and location contributing to positive feedback.
-
74% of residents feel safe during the day, while a combined 84% feel safe or reasonably safe at night.
-
74% rated the appearance and cleanliness of sidewalks, green spaces, and verges as excellent or great.
-
Of those receiving SPMMAโs newsflashes and monthly insights, 96% feel adequately informed about precinct activities and updates.
Suggestions for improvement centred on enhanced pedestrian walkways and monitoring vehicle speeding in certain areasโinsights that help guide planning and engagement with relevant authorities.
These annual results not only reflect the collective perception of those who live, work, and invest in Sibaya but also provide valuable direction for the year ahead as the Association continues to drive environmental care, safety, and operational excellence across the precinct.
