April’s severe flooding resulted in extensive silt deposits in the Sibaya Precinct node one attenuation pond. The Sibaya Precinct infrastructure team is on site de-silting the attenuation pond forebay which will allow rainwater to gather and flow freely into the pond. A follow-up operation will take place in the coming weeks to attend to silt deposits in the actual attenuation pond. Thanks to our teams for their commitment in maintaining the Sibaya Precinct.
