As the Sibaya Precinct continues its journey towards maturity the SPMMA acknowledges resident working groups for their recent assistance with maintenance and special projects. These include the privately funded attenuation pond one initiative by PARC and Gold Coast residents which involved de-siltation operations and the installation of a viewing platform in honour of late precinct manager, Gray Braatvedt. The installation will include seating and a plaque in Gray’s honour.
Precinct manager Justin van Rensburg says: “We would like to thank the numerous individuals involved specifically those leading the charge including Dave Gould, James Byrne, Stuart Meyer and Steyn Malan from Devmco, Billy Blackbeard from iDube Landscaping and the SPMMA staff. We’d also like to thank Shaun Baird of Kaiser Baird Insurance and Charles Taylor from Devmco for pledging R20 000 collectively towards future resident funded programs.”
“We look forward to engaging on more collaborative projects with residents. It’s great to see residents taking ownership and buying into the Sibaya Precinct’s success,” he added.
