Look what Forest Supervisor Mazwi Ngubane and a few residents spotted during a walk in the Sibaya Coastal Forest recently – the Tent Caterpillar. These tiny creatures are known to occupy a certain tree and cover it with web they spin.Β In this case, it was a Milkwood tree. It’s no coincidence that we can see dozens of tent caterpillars camping out together in this communal silk tent. They are highly social beings!
